Suwannee Rising: FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are there social distancing regulations that need to be followed? 

  • Yes! Everyone will have their own assigned space and will be required to wear a mask anytime outside of their assigned location. You are not allowed to leave your assigned space unless using the restroom or visiting the vendors. No mingling outside of your assigned space or within spaces assigned to others.


Q. Do I have to wear a MASK? 

  • Masks are strongly suggested in your P.O.D.S. and required when you venture outside your P.O.D.S.  


Q: Do I need to have proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test to attend? 

  • Proof of vaccination is not required. We strongly recommend that attendees get a Covid 19 PCR test in advance of Suwannee Rising. As tests continue to be more accessible and free of charge (in most situations), a negative test within 72 hours is the best way to ensure you keep yourself, your POD and the community safe. Less spread equals a faster return to the live music we all love and miss.

 

Q. What are P.O.D.S.?  

  • Personal Outdoor Dance Space.  This is a safely spaced area for your family and friends. Pods are 11'X11' Square with a 7' space between and 10' aisles in between rows. 


Q. What can be in my P.O.D.S.? 

  • Chairs, tables, coolers, food, and drinks are all allowed. It will need to all fit inside your P.O.D.S. 


Q: Are P.O.D.S. assigned?

  • Yes. All tickets are for P.O.D.S. reserved spaces for 4, you can add up to two additional squad members for a maximum of 6 people per P.O.D.S. 


Q. How do the P.O.D.S. tickets work? 

  • Each P.O.D.S includes 4 tickets.. An additional two adults may be added to your pod by calling the park office for add on tickets.
  • Maximum adults age 13 & over per space is 6.
  • Maximum adults and kids age 12 and under per spot is 6 .
  • Any add-ons past the original 4 will have an additional fee, including children. Children will be $10.
  • Child Add On: Each child that will attend beyond the originating 4 tickets in the P.O.D.S. will need a child ticket. We will use this to determine no one goes over the maximum number per P.O.D.S.
  • Extra ticket: Up to 2 extra tickets may be purchased for each space, allowing up to 6 adults per space.
  • All guests will be required to sign a liability waiver upon entry. Electronic waivers are available at SuwanneeLive.com under the Suwannee Rising tab.


Q: Can we bring our own food and drinks? 

  • Yes, for now, but this may change for future events depending on Park Policy. No glass containers! BYOB


Q: Are children allowed?

  • Yes, but they will account for the 4 in your P.O.D.S. or will need a child ticket purchased. No more than 6 including children.  All children must remain in the assigned spot at all times and abide by the guidelines. Child Waiver to be signed in addition to an adult waiver for each child.


Q: How many guests are allowed per space/ticket? 

  • Each ticket allows up to 4 people.   An additional two adults may be added to your spot by calling the park office for add on tickets. 
  • Maximum adults and kids per space is 6. 


Q: Where is Suwannee Rising being held? 

  • The festival will be held in the main entrance field at the Spirit of the Suwannee.


Q. How do I get to the venue? 

  • You may drive your golf cart or car to the concert venue and park it in the designated parking area. Walking is also an option if you are up for it.


Q: What is the format for Suwannee Rising 2021? 

  • We will feature two stages side by side. When one stage ends, the other will start.


Q. What is the schedule? 

  • There will be music Thursday April 8th beginning at 5pm and ending at 11pm, Friday and Saturday will begin at approximately 3:00pm and end at 11pm. No music on Sunday.


Q: Where can we park? 

  • Parking for your golf cart or vehicle will be located near the venue. There will not be any vehicles or golf carts allowed at your P.O.D.S.


Q. Can I bring a golf cart? 

  • Golf carts are not allowed in your P.O.D.S..  You may drive your golf cart or car to the parking area beside the venue and easily get to your P.O.D.S. If you want to rent a golf cart, call the country store at (386) 364-4841.


Q: Am I able to bring my own golf cart to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park?

  • Yes! There is a trail fee of $60 for the weekend and proof of insurance required.


Q: What overnight accommodations are available?

  • Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park has many options for accommodations including cabins, upgraded campsites and primitive camping. Please visit their site MusicLivesHere.com or call their office to reserve 386.364.1683.

Q: Is camping included with the tickets?

  • Primitive camping is included with your purchase. All upgraded camping and cabins will be an additional purchase.

Q: What if I do not use my ticket? 

  • All sales are final and there will be no refunds; unless the performance is canceled.

Q: Who should attend?

  • Only healthy people of all ages who have not recently been exposed to anyone with Covid-19and  do not display any Covid-19 symptoms.We are thankful for those that are vaccinated. 

Q: Will someone be picking up trash?

  • Yes. We will have trash receptacles available in the area and trash bags will be available at the gate. We appreciate your help keeping the park clean.

Q: What happens if it rains?

  • This is a rain or shine event. In case of inclement weather, please listen to the stage announcements for further details.

Q. Can I Bring My Dog? 

  • Pets are NOT allowed in the venue or in your P.O.D.S. Only officially certified service dogs with credentials will be allowed in the venue.  Comfort animals and Emotional Support animals are not allowed in the venue unless they are an official service animal.  Paperwork required.
